Information on cookie files
We use cookie files.
Cookie files (the so-called ‘cookies’) are information files, particularly text files, stored on Service User’s terminal device and are designed to enable the use of the Service websites. Cookies usually include the name of the website they come from, information on the period of their storage on a terminal device and a unique number.
Cookies are placed on User’s terminal device and are accessed by the Service Administrator.
Cookies are used for: statistical purposes to find out how Service Users browse websites, which facilitates improving their structure and content; maintaining Service User session (upon logging) so that a User does not have to enter one’s login and password on every microsite of the Service; definition of User profile so that suitable advertising material, particularly that of Google’s, may appear on User’s screen.
We use two basic kinds of cookie files: session cookies and persistent cookies. The former are temporary files stored on User’s terminal device until a User logs out, leaves a website or closes software (web browser). The latter are stored on User’s terminal device as long as it is defined in a particular cookie file parameter or until they are deleted by a User.
The software for browsing websites (web browser) usually allows the storage of cookies on User’s terminal device by default. Service Users may change these settings. A web browser has an option to delete cookies. Automatic blocking of cookie files is also possible. For detailed information on this issue please refer to your web browser’s help or support documentation. Restrictions on cookies may disable some functions of the Service websites. The cookies placed on Service User’s terminal device can also be used by advertisers and partners cooperating with the Service Administrator.
Cookie files may be used by advertising networks, particularly by Google, to display advertisements adjusted to Service User’s behaviour patterns when visiting the Service. For these purposes they can store the information on User’s navigation route or length of a visit on a website.
With regard to the information on User’s preferences gathered by Google advertising network, a User may view and edit the information about cookie files by means of the following tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/
Information on some of User’s browsing patters are subject to logging on the server. These data are used only for service administering and for ensuring that hosting services are rendered as efficiently as possible. The content viewed is identified by URL addresses. Moreover, several other kinds of information may also be recorded: query time, response time, client’s name – identified by the HTTP, errors occurring in a HTTP transaction, URL address of a website previously visited by a User (referrer link) – if a User enters the Service through a link, User’s web browser information, IP address.
The above-mentioned data are not associated with a particular browser.
The above-mentioned data are used exclusively for the purposes of server administration.
